Deddington with only three regular bowlers were made to pay by some very good batting by Britwell, mainly by Mark Griffiths 50, and James Atkins 63. The score of 202 looked high, but on an excellent batting wicket and with a strong batting line up, deddington did not feel out of it.However at 39 for 9 wickets things didn't go according to plan as the Greenhalf brothers tore through the Deddington ranks who looked more like rabbits in the headlights.Only a tenth wicket stand of 85 between David webb 48 and Matt Wilson 22no gave any respectibility to the score in a math Britwell thoroughly deserved to win. |
